There is no such thing as "transgender" - I am female

Everyone is being so mean and judgmental towards you for your own personal beliefs and I am not sure why. First off, there is no reason to be rude to this poster who is expressing her own thoughts and feelings having dealt with much of the same circumstances as everyone else in this community. I believe that the transgender community as a whole has been trying to perpetuate throughout history greater understanding, acceptance, and kindness towards something many do not understand. By showing hate and rejecting her personal beliefs we are endorsing the very thing we despise the most.

I believe OP is trying to express how sad it makes her feel to see how the term "transgender" is often portrayed. Only a few years ago, we constantly equated someone being transgender to someone being a drag queen or prostitute or over-sexualized. This is incredibly sad because many transgender individuals are forced into sex work because of the cycle of societies rejection and lack of understanding. This in turn has led to job discrimination, sexual and physical abuse, and an overall bad representation of transgendered individuals as a whole.

I am happy to see this social view changing in recent years, but I believe the OP to be trying to emphasize just how much of a "non-choice" being transgender truly is. How transgender individuals are portrayed as having/choosing to "change " genders, when in reality I believe OP to be emphasizing the spiritual aspect of being given a females soul from the moment she was born. She never changed her gender, she was always that way. She just changed her body to match her soul. So, just like any female who was born with the matching genitalia has a female soul, there are occasionally female souls born with the wrong genitalia.

Basically, she is emphasizing that things like cis and trans seem to point out our differences, when maybe we need to focus on similarities and understanding.

This is just my own personal thought on what the OP was intending to say! I just feel bad because I think many may have interpreted what she meant as being "transphobic" or "in-denial". In reality, I'm pretty sure she's doing the opposite emphasizing how sometimes things that can't be physically tested for (mental health, sexuality, gender), but it doesn't mean it's a choice or nonexistent. We all understand that a diabetic should be given insulin to live a normal and healthy life to their full potential. Then why is it so many people in our society see antidepressants or HRT as something to feel shameful about or weak for needing.

All in all, were all human beings made by God specially and uniquely; given our own perfect path and destiny. Let's start seeing the similarities and not the differences in how we get there.

Much love!
