Prepare to kill the messenger. Nobody at work takes you seriously because you don’t take yourself seriously. Frankly I think that’s for the best, but you seem to be heavily invested in seriousness. Hence, if that is what you want, then you need to realize that all of this whimpering and whining on social media is a symptom of the problem. We teach people how to treat us by our behavior. And your behavior is to scuttle off to abstract Internet land and loss and moan. And then you wonder why nobody at work treats you with respect. You’re so hung up on yourself and your gender that you can’t see the forest for the trees. Not everything is about your dysphasia. There are other people in the world, all trying to live their lives and get by. So you were born with a puss, but want to express masculine. Kudos, Do it to it. Go all the way. But stop simpering like a childish waif who things the universe ought to revolve around them.
