Time, Space, and Knowledge as an intro to Dzogchen

If Zen didn't resonate there is a chance Dzogchen won't either. I think it has more in common with Zen than some of the other Tibetan paths. I came to Tibetan Buddhism in a similar way to what you describe. I found Zen understandable but at the time I was looking for more "why" then just "how." I spent many years mostly in the Kagyu line before moving into Dzogchen. Maybe it took me that long to get past my need for explanations and was able to appreciate Dzogchen as a completion path. So while I love Dzogchen and it has been my main practice for a few years now, and agree with many of the posts here, I'd be a little careful of jumping in. On the other hand, maybe it will be perfect for you, but thought I should put this out there.
