Toyota's Letter

We have yet to contact Toyota about our ordeal with our car we only put 400 miles on.. I have a question if you know. Did they advise if you choose the buy-back option that the dealership markup would be included? We are in Northern CA and the dealership markup was huge. I have been a Toyota loyalist and in 30 years have purchased 6 new cars. My first was a sweet 93 MR2 Turbo which I still own and love to drive. Our solar system production was specifically designed for a new EV. So it was great news that Toyota had launched a pure EV. We were going to get a Tesla and glad we didn't. I drive a Sequoia so a crossover SUV is not a requirement. If we can get back what we paid including markup we'll be selling it back. I've lost some faith in Toyota as my Sequoia has had 4 minor recalls. I read there are problems with the new Tundra as well. Not a good year for Toyota. I am on call lists for a Kia EV6 GT. Although not technically an SUV or has superior range and features. Sales gave us info that high income was 300k and not 200k so we don't qualify for the rebate if we file married. Will can file married but separately I hope. Still trying to sell her on the ev6 GT she as I said she loves the bz but I just have too many concerns that could come up and we have a big suv. Any further info you can provide on buy-back would help. We should be able to call in the next few days but our schedules are crazy which made this even a further inconvenience with our dealership and lack of communication.
