4 new Michelin tires installed on 2015 RX350 at Costco. TPMS Light came on after driving five minutes away from the shop. It's been on ever since. Took the car back for a scan. He's of course recommending I change all four sensors based On the scanner not being able to detect two sensors. I'm aware that things go out and the lifespan of this part. The guy says it happens all the time that people bring their cars in for tire changes and then walk out needing new tire sensors. The tech also had a hard time getting my Lugnuts off and three hours into the process wanted me to authorize putting new ones on. How would I possibly know that this guy didn't damage them? I won't use Costco again for tires.
