Uh, yeah, it is basic infrastructure, which shows how communities of color are neglected until white people show up. Anything but sidewalks is fancy when you get nothing else.

Moses was white guy with power imposing his vision of what transportation on black neighborhoods while completely their input, something I would hope as a leftist, you would be trying to avoid.

Yes, it does. When a community doesn’t get investment in basic bike infrastructure until white people show up, that’s a big fucking problem. If you want less resistance to bike infrastructure from neighborhoods of color, do outreach to get them to bike first and put the fucking infrastructure in place when they are not white and are not becoming more white!
