is this a travel

By the NBA rule book it’s 100% a travel.

At game speed, you’ll likely get away with it.

Once you complete your jump stop, you can also establish a pivot foot (like you do in the video). You then move forward and lift the pivot foot, moving onto your alternate foot. This is a travel. You can lift your pivot foot from this position if you’re jumping off of both feet.

If your pivot foot lifts after completing a jump stop and your only contact point is the alternate foot, this is a step made after stopping the dribble and establishing a pivot foot, and this is 100% a travel.

In reality, it’ll happen so quickly that as long as it looks like you’re jumping off of both feet simultaneously, you’ll get away with it.
