What a bizarre comment. Races--which aren't even real--don't have some kind of propensity for evil, or any other behavior, and to infer otherwise is to imply you believe that races do have some kind of genetic behavior. After all, if all white people are reprehensible (and should thus be ashamed), then why aren't other races equally capable of evil?

She should be critical of the ancestors who used slave labor for profit, not some fictional ascriptive category. I'm not entirely surprised to find that she works in the nonprofit sector, however, taking the money of wealthy people to reform society in ways that are entirely undemocratic. People choose to find flaws in society that privilege their career aspirations, while overlooking more... troubling alternatives.
