Problems with the above T9 build

• 2 collectors will not keep up with 2xD2 lasers

• 250mj shields thin for interdictions and HAZRES

• 200 boost speed too slow to evade pirate NPC's

First, assuming you wish to mine efficiently, you won't be able to get through the shields of the initial attack in the HAZRES with 2x class 1 beam lasers. Second, if you survive, possibly by staying cool, it would take forever to collect. Drop mining lasers to class 1, it was overkill, you then need 3 collectors but you might get away with 2 if you are close enough to the asteroid. Third, once full of painite, the inevitable interdiction will be hard to escape without escort.

Potential solution (if you like the challenge)

• Use silent running / reboot shields (once update 2.3 is available shields come back at 50%)

• Engineer ship to stay cool and reduce signature

• Fix collector vs laser ratio

• Engineered ammo capacity for heat sink and chaff

• Hire escorts, pay in painite and trade dividends
