Separate issue, but wondering if you can help me..

I’m trying to get to the bottom of Gloomnest after going to the Worldpillar. In the top-right section of Gloomnest, before it drops to the bottom. I need to do the “self-pull” technique to lift a glowing block to reach a ledge to progress, but it simply will not come out of the ground.

I have tried over and over again to aim the pull in different directions, standing from varying distances. I’ve tried resetting the game. But the block just will not come out of the ground. I’m certain I’m not mistaken as a walkthrough I watched showed someone pull the block up just fine.

Is there anyway to fix this or do I need to make a new file?
