Once again, stop assuming everyone's situation is your situation. I was only telling you about my wife's situation because I assumed (incorrectly) that you would be able to understand and sympathize with her situation, and other women like her, I told you about MY reason for carrying a gun sometimes because you asked me if I did. MY WIFE uses a gun to protect herself and children. I use a gun to protect myself from bear. My relatives, who all farm and ranch, use guns to kill wild animals (like coyotes, boycats) that kill their livestock. None of us use guns "because other people have guns", my wife would be just as fucked if someone broke in with nothing more than a kitchen spatula...small and weak is small and weak.
