Glad you're okay op! I honestly fear for the lives of people who ride bicycles without helmets, even if they live in small cities with little traffic, good infrastructure and no dangerous roads. Just a little carelessness from my side 5 years ago resulted in me crashing with a moving car, getting flipped into the air and landing on the ground. My head could have been majorly fucked up if I didn't wear my helmet at that time. And mind you, that happened in a very small city and in a place where there wasn't even that much traffic. So many things can go wrong if you're just a little careless or just really unlucky when riding a bike, there's literally no excuse for not wearing a helmet
