I guess I'll be the odd man out, I'm back to let's see where this goes. Audio Adrenaline for me is Big House and they will never be that sound again. When I compare the last album (Kevin Smith vocals) to now the music is pretty much the same. Yeah I'm on the fence with a name change, but I guess because of bands I grew up listening to I say give it some time to see how this plays out.

Let's play a stroll through some history - The last year of Stryper's original run was full of Michael Sweet, in and out of the band with Oz Fox supplying lead vocals. At one point Dale Thompson performed with them and was offered lead singer duties so the band could continue. I always thought this would have been cool to see happen, but then Bride's Snakes in the Playground would have never happened. Even without Michael it wasn't like the band was that bad with Oz at the helm - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlrcrHN3n1o they just needed a second guitarist.

Then you have Living Sacrifice. DJ was the lead singer for the REX Records period, then Bruce Fitzhugh takes over vocals when they signed to Solid State Records. I know there are DJ die hard fans, but I wouldn't say the band hurt from the change, but actually got better. Of course that's subjective.

How about Vengence Rising. The band itself left Roger Martinez and became Die Happy. Some would argue Die Happy was the real Vengeance Rising and Roger's Vengeance Rising was a weird experiment. But both bands had their positives and still enjoyable for fans of the genre.

Or what about Plankeye? Sure losing Scott Silletta hurt, but would anyone argue that Eric Balmer was a bad singer?

I get it with Audio Adrenaline you have a band with no ties to the original (except writing) and I think that's the strongest argument for a name change.
