Who is your least favorite coach in each conference?

In no particular order:

  • Trashes the SEC and complains about Urban Meyer's "illegal" recruiting tactics (daring to flip unsigned, but verbally committed recruits) "we in the Big Ten don't want to be like the SEC in any way shape or form" (direct quote). Takes the job at Arkansas....where he'll be recruiting against Saban and Miles etc...hypocrite.
  • Takes the job at Arkansas before Wisconsin's bowl game, the Rose Bowl, leaving Wisconsin scrambling for a coach (which Barry Alvarez eventually decided to take on for the game)
  • In an effort to Bolster his case that the NCAA should change rules to limit hurry-up offenses (an unpopular opinion in general) he said he had "death certificates" to prove that hurry up offenses are unsafe. Referencing the death of Cal player Ted Agu (who had a sickle cell issue and there's no proof his death was because of hurry up offenses). Basically, he tried to use a player's death (a player he didn't know or coach) to bolster his argument against hurry up offenses, pretty pathetic.
  • Bert's wife tweets "#Karma" after Wisconsin's bizarre (and completely BS) loss to Arizona State. Considering A: Bert is the one who freaking left Wisconsin and B: a majority of those kids were guys Bert himself recruited and ostensibly his wife knew and was around....just gross.
  • Fun fact, Arkansas would go on to lose to Rutgers the next week...a wife of an Ohio State coach congratulated Rutgers on the win and tweeted #Karma. :)
  • His response to the horrible things going on at PSU? "I guess, during this time just enjoy & embrace being a Badger fan" - gross.

Anyway, those are just a few choice things. Guy is an asshole.
