Regular rotation at our house:
* Breakfasts -scrambled egg tacos with Pico, dried fruit and nut oatmeal with hemp seeds, avocado toast, French toast with skillet blistered blueberries or glazed apples, cottage cheese pancakes with nut butter, Dutch oven pancake, cornbread waffles, biscuits & gravy.

  • Lunches - mostly snack plates. Cheeses, bread or crackers, pickles, dried figs or dates, sliced apple with cinnamon or nut butter, celery-carrot-jicama sticks, smashed cucumber salad or tzatziki, olives, egg salad or similar... or Soups. Make big batches, freeze in individual portions to reheat on demand. Split pea, French onion, beer cheese veg chowder, spicy pumpkin.

  • Dinners - Brothy/miso bowls or grain based Buddha bowls. Sheetpan dinners like furikake broccoli with protein of choice.
    Casseroles from tamale pie to cottage pie, zucchini gratin, chunky stews, polenta with drunken mushrooms...
