What defines a mug as Tiki or not Tiki?

To me the mug would need to fit either traditional Polynesian shapes/designs (the old wood carvings style), be focused around something that is used is traditional tiki drinks (ie rum barrel, pineapple shapes) or show the “culture” around tiki (hula, surfing, beach, islands).

Intent matters to me as that’s what caused them to use that shape. So for example, an agave shaped glass represents where tequila comes from (non-tiki ingredient, plus desert location) so would assume intent was to use it more for margaritas/palomas; just as rum barrel shape creators didn’t intend for it to be used for an aperol spritz.

I’d use that glass for a fun tequila/mezcal drink though!
