Anyhow look back at Dead or Alive and those of Hi NRG and compare it to the scene and attitudes today, what do you see different?. Before it was Funky and Disco now it's all Politics, victimisation and Gloom.

I'm not sure either if he considered himself a woman at any point but he was a transvestite wherein he took on the female aesthetics and I do say well especially in Dead and Alive, He was very feminine in image and pretty whilst retaining his Masculinity as himself Pete Burns. We don't see people much like him anymore. Of course the era of Disco and Synthesizers is remote but the expression and essence lives on and is enjoyed by many including myself. It would of been good if Pete Burns stayed himself and never ruined himself.
