What movies have you watched this week?

Funny you should ask. Lots of movies in the last week or so.

The 1940s version of The Killers. Burt Lancaster was pretty cool. There's a version from the 60s (with Lee Marvin) that was the one I wanted to watch but it wasn't streaming anywhere, so I watched this one instead. What was the deal with insurance investigators in the 40s, though? They're in a lot of movies.

The Top Gun sequel. It delivered. If it's the kind of thing you're looking for, then it's what you're looking for.

Thor Love and Thunder. It was okay. Basically a comedy. These movies have gone from being big events to being time wasters. That's okay, but they're really different now. When was the last time you saw a Marvel movie and thought "hot damn that was great!"?

The Last Duel. A little too long. Good enough, I guess, but tedious at times. There's a big ol' fight at the end, and the whole movie is very grimey, because it was a long time ago.

No Time To Die. Really good. This set of Bond movies is as good a series as anything else in the last 20 years.

Nope. This is probably my favorite movie on this list. I hope Jordan Peele makes movies for a long time.
