What products DID or DIDN'T live up to the hype?

DIDN'T:

L'Oreal Pro Glow: saw so much hype over this foundation and I was so disappointed in it. Awful colour, patchy as hell and separated on my forehead.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: I loved this originally, makes my lashes look so bomb, but oftentimes smudges on my under eyes and the wand is awful.
Tarte Shape Tape - creased like no tomorrow even with powder, it's so thick and still didn't provide me much coverage.

DID:

Hourglass Bronzer: nude diffused light is my all time favourite thing ever, such a nice tone, and a bit glowy without being over the top.
Tarte Pro Glow To Go: the highlighter "gleam" in this palette is my favourite, such a nice and subtle shine without being glittery, so easy to blend. The chisel shade is really good too but I find can be very warm/orange if you use it heavy handed.
Chi chi Eyebrow Pomade: bought this after seeing it on this sub and definitely wasn't let down. Has a bit of a learning curve if you haven't used pomades before but it's amazing quality for the price point.
