What's there to know about the Easy Tents Area? Not the GA!

I stayed in the Easy Tents last year and loved it. i would love to stay there again but this year I'm going solo and they only come in a 2 or 4 person package. The 2 great things about Easy Tents that stood out the most to me were the parking and the bathroom. I'm not sure of you're driving but the premium parking is literally at the front of the lot. It was an easy 15-20 min walk to our car last year, which is great if you're going to be hauling a bunch of gear. The Easy Tent bathrooms were a lifesaver!! They were in trailers, had flushable toilets and they were air conditioned. Some even had vanity counters and electrical outlets so girls could blow dry and curl their hair. They were also really well maintained. Always clean and stocked with toilet paper. There were lines at peak times but all in all I couldn't have asked for more in a music festival restroom setup. As for the showers, I have no idea. I was unwashed and grimey all weekend. It appears that the later in the week and day that you arrive, you get assigned an Easy Tent farther and farther from the check in desk. We didn't get there until 2 or so on Fri so we were kinda in the back, which was nice for us because it was quieter and a bit more mellow. Also, even though the Easy Tents are side by side, there is still a ton of room to get out and walk around or set up a canopy in front of your tent, which I highly recommend. In GA Dreamville people are kinda camping on top of each other, which I think is part of the fun. With the Easy Tents, the tent might not be very spacious but there are wide walkways. Most afternoons, when it got too hot inside, we would throw the air matress on the grass in front the tent and just lay there for awhile. As for the tents themselves, I heard alot of complaints about the quality and size. It's true that they weren't the most spacious or the most weatherproof but from what I gather they are changing up the tents this years so maybe they will be an upgrade. Even so, I strongly recommend your bring 2 waterproof tarps. One for under your belongings inside the tent and one for over your tent at night. Atlanta area dew is some intense shit and everything inside your easy tent will become soaked quickly if your don't put a tarp over it in the evening. Our tent didn't tear last year, even when we were taking it down and packing it up but I doubt I'll ever rely on it again. It's definitely more of a keepsake than functional. The sleeping bags were thin last year and we only brought one small blanket to share but I wore an adult fleece onsie to sleep in and it saved my life. It was comfy and warm as hell. It was so nice to put it all at the end of the day and walk around dreamville feeling cozy. So basically the Easy Tents worked well for us because this was our first festival camping experience and it made things pretty convienent and streamlined. That being said, I have a feeling I'm going to love GA Dreamville just as much. There is definitely more energy and a sense of community than in the Easy Tents. You'll have a great time no matter where you land. It is an amazing event!! Let me know if I can answer any more questions for you. See you in Sept!!!!
