Hey there, were you able to fix your problem?
The problem is that the game shuffles around the load order of mods, EVEN though you take your time to activate them in order and apply, sometimes it moves them or even wrongfully names them in the "options.set" file. So your friend and you can activate the mods in the same order but the game might still fuck it up or even reshuffle them at EACH GAME LAUNCH.
So the solution is to go in
"C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\gates of hell\profiles\XprofilenumberX\"
In there you should have the "options.set" file. Open it up with Notepad or a text editor. At the bottom you will see the mods activated like this
mod_2537987794:0
mod_2928207571:0
These string of numbers for the folders, correspond to the mod number in the Workshop. For Gates of Hell the address to find them is this one :
"D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\400750"
In this folder you will have all the mods you have downloaded listed. So go in them and check the "mod.info" file with Notepad. That should give you the name of the mod.
Now that you know the number for a mod you want, you just have to add it to the "options.set" file like above IN ORDER. For exemple Valour would be the first.
