Hrmm I haven't seen someone use initials on Facebook, and I don't see anyone using them in a quick scan through a random public page's comments. I'm sure someone has, but it doesn't seem remotely standard.

I didn't get many likes either (;_;) but I didn't post anything particularly important. And my shit was (mostly) ignored, it's weird she received a quick comment but not even a lurker's Like on something people'll reflexively Like (the internet has a general-ish 90-10 comment to lurk ratio).

I really apreciated the long thought out answer but the shoehorned arther meme feels a bit condesending.
