My buddy. Him and I are a perfect fit together at shows. We both have a heavy appreciation for the music and feel the grateful dead are the greatest band of all time. He’s in recovery and will be my guardian if I drop acid or take some shrooms. Occasionally he’ll hit one of my joints or take a microdose to vibe out. We like to dance the entire set too. It’s fun w our significant others but it’s not the same as w my homie.

I had a bitter sweet weekend at wrigley this year. My gf and I had been saving for pit tix since I first discovered the dead at their n2 show last year. She unfortunately came down w COVID and had to pass on the weekend. My buddy took her tickets and we made the most of it. Honestly one of the most spiritual weekends of my life.

My friend and I talk about recovery, addiction, music, and life. Our friendship has grown through the music and it has never stopped.

We had the good fortune of catching sci w Billy at red rocks this past week. Both of us had our partners flanking us as they played a second set of nothing but the dead. Biggest smiles imaginable. I remember telling my old lady that I hope an asteroid comes and takes us out so I could die happy.
