What’s a belief that you hold with which many people disagree?

Gender identity is overblown and sometimes dangerous. Clearly trans people exist - human bodies go wrong all the time, so there are bound to be cases of people whose brains do not match their bodies. However the problem arises when people, who are not trans, mistakenly think they are trans, and transition. This usually happens because being transgender is fashionable to them, or because they make a genuine mistake, or the simply just want to feel different. Say they live a decent chunk of their life like this, or even take medical treatment such as hormones or surgery. This is just as damaging as someone who is genuinely trans living life as their birth gender
