Is Wing Chun not a respected Martial Art or is it just the Reddit echo chamber?

The more they like to talk shit about Wing Chun, the more I enjoy kicking their ass with it. Never failed me. The important thing is that you go try and use your stuff with different martial artists (not online). OF COURSE in a friendly manner. Then sometimes you get your ass kicked, go back to training, get better. Sometimes you get the upper hand. It doesn't matter: NOW they respect your system. And you made friends. Instead of cringing by reading Reddit comments that bash Wing Chun all the time. Got me loads of BJJ, Muay Thai, etc friends that love to spar and share ideas. All of them have showed nothing but interest and good comments about my stuff...heck some of them are even training Wing Chun passionately. So yeah: it's the internet.
