Wired or wireless? Wireless I set up a hotspot on my laptop using all wifi with power saving off. Connect bluetooth headphones directly to the PC. I use the Pico 4 streaming extender software (google it) to tweak settings (Ultra 90hz, supersampling 140%, bitrate 140mb, hevc (RTX gpu) with all boxes checked, wifi channel width 160hz to channel 157 and image settings "to taste") . I start SA and Steam VR from the extender and use owomushi's Pico SA v9.4.4.2 for wireless connectivity to SteamVR. On average I get 30-50ms response with no flickering and variable compression but generally a decent image for gaming. If you look youll see compression but if you game you dont notice it. Wireless freedom for HL2 is totally worth it for popping head and arms around corners to RPG walkers withouth being turned into virtual tomatoe soup.
