What are some stuff that you learned in school at the time, but has changed since then?

I was in a school bus accident on my way to school in the late 70s. The bus ended up in a ditch on its side. We exited through the emergency door in the back.

Police arrived and asked if we were OK - luckily no one was hurt, just some scrapes and bruises. We waited for a replacement bus and finally got to school before lunch period. Told my parents all about what happened when I got home off the bus later that day.

Today: - we would have been sent to the hospital - videos of the incident would be on TikTok uploaded from our phones - parents would have been called to pick us up - bus driver would be tested for drugs and alcohol - there would be a security camera on the bus recording the entire incident
