The worst case of black fishing I have ever seen. She’s middle eastern, for comparison. Top pics are from 2013, bottom pic is from 2020.

I can relate! My sister is mixed with almost the same as I am (different fathers) and her husband is mostly black but his great grandparents are both biracial (black and white) and she was confused why her son was the only kid from his side of the family that didn’t turn out looking black. (His black genes are strong). He lost most of his european side features but he still stands out and the father mentions it all the time XD

My mix history is looong. But my sister came out looking latina and I swear I look like that random racially ambiguous girl, but when I was in the US everyone assumed I was pure black except for my eyes and hair texture which set them off (thought it was weave/ I can tan dark but I’m naturally medium brown or ¿caramel?)

My mother’s side is mixed with native tribe of Latin America (forgot what it’s called),European (mostly west side, spread out around famine and WWII), afro latino, and creole . She has some more but it’s like less than 10% so I’m not counting it My dad side is mixed with latino/Hispanic, asian (from Trinidad side), indigenous, european (North and Mediterranean, some polish and Russian), mestizo, and mulatto (I heard that word is offensive in western culture but my family in Latin America uses a lot. I’ll change it if it’s triggering

I was born with one blue eye and one green eye with curly auburn hair and browner skin and had my mother concerned (she has raven hair and brown eyes and my dad has brown hair and brown eyes) XD but my sister’s son was born with light skin and grey eyes but his ended up hazel like his father’s and his skin is now brown like my sister’s. Genetics are really crazy. When I was in the US everyone would auto assume I was black (even my substitute who said “I didn’t know black people lived in Europe” ????) and would pull my hair and claim I was trying to be white or call me a mutant until my Spanish and French speaking mom came to pick me up one day and was lecturing me because the speakers never called me to get picked up in the office (she had to wait a half an hour XD). Everyone was shocked. My mother always reminds me that I’m mixed yet I should always remember I’m a POC and that parts of the world will label and see me one way. I grew up in a multicultural family and have family in at least 4-5 continents and sometimes it’s a hassle being mixed race but unlike these girls I’m not trying to tan or achieve a unnatural look. People claim you should appreciate people are trying to blackfish and look like a POC but I’ve been through discrimination and I don’t find someone painting themselves and washing it off without facing the same prejudice, „complimenting”. (I’m too afraid to get a flu shot I don’t understand how these people go from a Barbie to a bratz doll?? That’s extremely expensive and crazy how people go to this length).

But besides that mixed blabber I just typed-That’s why I never like to claim someone is fishing unless I know their ancestry. But this girl shown here ,she is fully ME and has even said it on her insta page, and she transformed herself. It’s not like she is mixed with black and this is her natural features and she is going natural from relaxed hair. People need to be realistic. Yes there is a diversity in every race, but there are certain characteristics you don’t have unless you’re mixed or of that race. Also sorry for the bad English, it’s not my first language and I’m typing on mobile!
