How did you find out Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and/or the Easter Bunny wasn't real?

My brother lost a tooth and my parents told him to put it under his pillow and the tooth fairy would give him money. I woke up early one morning before he did and looked under his pillow. A big shiny £2 coin. I took it. It was mine.

When he woke up he was upset because the tooth he placed under the pillow was gone but there was no money, the tooth fairy took his tooth and didn't compensate him for it. "I guess she robbed you little bro, you left that tooth and she didn't give you the money for it, you just can't trust anyone".

We both went downstairs and explained the situation to our parents. They both got angry and said that I took it and I asked them why they'd accuse me of such deed. They told me they knew I took it because they put it under there. I was shocked and still instisted that I didn't take the £2 coin, I then ran upstairs pretending to be upset and put the coin under his bed to make it look like it dropped between the gap in his bed while he was squirming around in his sleep, after getting called out on it again I suggested they stop accusing me and perhaps take a better look at his bed. They found it while I dropped it and I made them apologize for 1) accusing me of stealing the money and 2) making up the tooth fairy. I accepted their apology then asked why he got £2 when last year I only got £1.
