I'm not saying corners have to be cut, I'm saying this is Koei, they have a history of this stupid stuff and they rarely communicate with their fans, they have been cutting corners in recent warriors titles (cheap voice actors and clones in DW9 and cut roster with clones in SW5) these series aren't popular enough for Koei to believe its worth putting all this extra effort into a game that isn't going to do that well no matter what since the mainstream population sees them as brain numbing button mashers no matter what.

So no I don't think corners have to be cut, the solutions are quite simple and affordable I think, but Koei is cutting corners anyway and doing dumb things, so this is where we are
