I don't think there's a point in getting single channel ram when you can get dual channel for the same price. This build also has a better monitor as the one he listed has 8ms response time which is noticable vs the 5-6ms that's standard on IPS panels. This build also has a great PSU that will support crossfire when you decide to upgrade to dual R9 290x's and it comes in a blue/black theme. If you like red/black more then let me know.
