[25F] Rant: Why is dating so fucking frustrating?

While I don't share your frustration, I can empathize with your situation and might be able to offer some perspective.

I am 26, male, fit, atheist, have my own successful business, and travel a lot. I also cannot imagine dating someone who eats animals, which further shrinks my pool by 95%. Beat that.

Dating rewards you for being average and the more you deviate the harder it gets. People are looking to date someone similar, not 'better'. And what you think is 'better' is really just 'different'. Most people around me couldn't care less about your cushy job or mortgage dream.

The world is random, and random doesn't owe you anything (which can be infuriating or liberating).
