6 Powers

Healing would be okay. It would be great to have in a pinch if medical treatment failed anyone that you love. But obviously that coma bit isn't great.

Telepathy has a vague downside. If you're reading someone's memory and it's your own, stop and try again. Seems simple enough to avoid, although again it's not very specific. And anyway it seems like if you avoided viewing memories altogether this power would work as traditional mind reading with no downsides.

Omnilingualism would suck for me because since I already speak a few languages, I would actually become less fluent in them if you took away tone, and then there's no chance for, not to mention the joy of, improvement.

Precognition would be cool. It would be great for gambling and making loads of money, even if you lose one out of every ten times. That would even make it more believable, and, knowing this, you would never bet all of your money.

Intangibility seems like you would never have to worry about the downside. How slow would you have to be going to spend 3-4 minutes in a wall? But then again how useful would the upside be? I guess you could use it to steal things, but then why not use the previous power and buy those things instead. And then you're not ruining the day/year/life of whoever you would have stolen from.

Atmokinesis is by far the worst. Changing the weather even with no downsides wouldn't be all that great in the real, practical world. You could maybe stop some hurricanes, but those can be much larger than 100 miles wide so actually I don't think you could. And even so you might create something that does even more damage.

I think I would have to go with healing. Yeah the downsides suck, and I won't be winning at the roulette table anytime soon, but I don't think I could live with myself if someone I knew died of something I could have stopped because I thought spending a few weeks in a coma was worth their dying. I could even heal rich people for a big chunk of change. Do it once a year for a million dollars. Most people work 40 hours a week all year, I just have to take a 7-30 day nap and then I'm set. I could even take a year off, heal people as soon as I come out, meanwhile all of that money is being earning interest, and then be set for life with the option to heal a loved one.
