Yeah, but from their POV what you were suggesting would catch less pedophiles, and you immediately insinuate the same thing about them back. You're not even above the thing you're pretending offended you so much, let alone insults in general because the first thing you did was call me something.
Your argument against theirs was that "it should be handled by proper authorities" which doesn't even make any sense in this context. Of course it should be handled by authorities, but announcing that you're trying to catch pedophiles will lead to them using other services, and leaving you with less people to report to the proper authorities, which you're doing either way.
It can be argued that a company shouldn't prioritize catching and reporting pedophiles over just deterring them, but both are morally grey. Which is fine! Just confused why you two turned it into a "you're the pedo!" contest.
