Remember the elderly guy who walked up to riot police and was shoved? He fell down hard and was seriously injured. “Shove” may be an overstatement if you’ve seen the video and viewed it objectively.

Just about everyone was calling for the cop to be fired.

There was a thread where I pointed out how fucking ignorant it is to approach police in full-on riot gear, and of course I got downvoted to all hell. I hate the old fella got hurt, but play stupid games…

If you see a pack of police officers, walk the other direction or keep your distance ffs. By all means though, keep filming.. it’s one thing if they attack you as an innocent bystander off to the side, but you have to be aware nothing good is going to come from getting in close contact. Lots of folks nowadays are trying to get involved and provoke police when they have no business doing so, then cry victim when they find themselves laid out on the ground.
