A gift of nothing. ( A Seinfeld reference.) Let her sleep in. All chores put off to the next day. All meals are delivered. Disposable plates, flatware and cups.

Maybe breakfast bagels or donuts & danishes in the morning, sandwiches from a great sandwich shop for lunch and something from one of her favorite restaurants for dinner. And if appropriate, pizza or burgers for the kids.

Moms love their children and would enjoy meals with them. You and the kids can take off somewhere for a few hours so that she can have the house to herself, ie; enjoy the quiet for a while.

And then come back with a cake that you previously ordered with her name on it, candles and some ice cream. A bouquet of flowers could be a nice added touch. Maybe a framed picture of the two of you or even your whole family would make for a thoughtful gift. Or even a generous gift card to a favorite clothing store or even a craft store. You never know, a hobby could be born! And if not, there's always something to buy like supplies for her or the kids or even seasonal decor. And don't forget the hugs and kisses! They go a long way.
