This was actually an insanely simple case..

How does stuff get so warped on this site? Ancestry was never used. That was just another speculation that went around until it morphed into fact. LE used video surveillance and cell phone pins to narrow down the suspect then used dna collected from his families trash to confirm the dna that was found on the knife. That's all in the affidavit.

It amazes me how much the way speculations get twisted and turned into fact reminds me of the gossip game that is played as an icebreaker in school-The teacher whispers one thing to a student, then that student whispers it to another student and then that student whispers it to another student... until there are no students left. That last student then shares what they heard. It is never the same and so far off from what was originally said. That's exactly what happens on this site...
