After a month, $6k and a new engine I finally have it back.

In all fairness, you bought a car with a rebuilt title. And did not have it inspected by a mechanic of your choosing before purchase. Playing Devils advocate here, but that nearly happened to me once. Unless the car is brand new, I always have another mechanic of my choosing to perform a detailed inspection. I do pay for these, but you also must perform your due diligence when making purchases of this caliper. It will be nearly impossible to prove they sold it to you damaged. When you take possession of an AS-IS car and you sign the paper work then drive off, everything falls on you. The lemon laws do not go into effect for the dealer, but the actual auto manufacturer themselves. Considering the overall situation, you just will have to take a loss and let this be a learning experience. If you do win, good for you!
