After tonight, Dončić is averaging 19.6/6.2/3.8 on 44/35/68 shooting. (20/6.5/4 per36)

I recall Rick stating one reason DSJ and Luka as a great fit bc it helps balance the offense from a symmetrical standpoint on one side of the arc you have Luka and the other DSJ. Both being threats as ball handler, playmaker, facilitator, shooter, floor spacer. Although Luka may seem to be better/more advanced at these concepts than DSJ right now, the idea is to have both be a viable threat so teams aren't able to cheat and stack a side. Like being able to run a pick and roll on either side at any given time or swinging ball from one side to the other with no drop off in continuity of offense during a possession. Multiple ballhandlers and ball movement is key in Rick's system.

DSJ and Luka can be a dynamic duo when they develop chemistry and gel on court. Just gonna take time, especially with DSJ new role in system not being as high usage as last year. DSJ has so much potential just needs time to develop it. Not gonna happen overnight.

Can't wait to watch this duo's development over the next few years.
