AITA: Gaylor edition

I am a straight guy and I used to think gaylors were pretty disrespectful until I went down the rabbit hole. Additionally, diving into this made me start to think about how absurd it is that in 2022, being gay is still something society views as shameful. Obviously outing someone against their will is bad, but I've come to the conclusion that I just don't understand how discussing the possibility she could be gay is bad?

Like, the only way that could be construed as a negative is if you think there is an issue with being gay. If you have no problem with it, then like you said, how is it really any different than speculating on her straight relationships?
