WEEKLY VENT THREAD/MEGATHREAD

I honestly am fairly new to Gaylor stuff and Question...? didn't make sense to me at all before either. The brilliance of so much of Taylor's songwriting is that, while it's extremely personal, it powerfully describes emotions or experiences that are nearly universal and thus relatable. When I listened to the chorus, I was just like "yeah, Taylor, that's never happened to me, I don't really know what you're talking about but this just isn't relatable for me." Everything makes more sense now. :) I still think her best songs are the ones that feel more universal and not about a very specific event in her life, but she can write about whatever she wants, and I don't skip that song as much now because at least it has *some* meaning I can attach to it.
