"John's statement accidentally aged poorly"

is incorrect and misleading (at best) to anyone who has not watched the actual video.

John's statements in the video and sentiment have aged perfectly. To say "XYZ has aged poorly" implies that today (in hindsight) a statement made earlier is obviously incorrect/at odds with today's values.

John's statement is not only as true today as it was when John originally made it, it is now as 'true' as it has ever been. If anything,
"John's statement is as true today and even more prophetic than it has ever been."

John said that a small group of armed militia using force should not be able to take control of land designated by the federal government. He also talks about how 'what is right' should not be decided by a few bullies.

If John posted this video 'next week', it would be as true and accurate as when it was originally posted.

In 2022, the only thing I would say is ①John was ahead of his time, and ②John thinks the capital of Oregon is Portland (John is a lovable idiot), I am surprised he is allowed to drive.
