Ummmm... honey? I’m getting more and more worried reading this. Please, don’t wait until Monday. People have died doing that. He’s escalating and he’s threatening you. Please call the police NOW and have him charged with uttering threats or the equivalent charge and get a restraining order. I think you are in danger.

By the way: you talked about your illness before and the way he and Slappy treated the boys and how you had to threaten to refuse treatment to get him to listen. I firmly believe the ONLY reason he agreed to removing them from her care was because doctors, at least where I am from, are mandatory reporters, and he probably would have been investigated and charged with neglect. That, and also, he can currently explain away you not allowing Slappy around the boys to his friends, coworkers, family etc as you being spiteful. If you were refusing treatment and risking your life, everyone would have viewed him, her and the situation much differently, because nobody would refuse treatment in order to prevent your mother in law from babysitting your kids, even if they didn’t like her... unless she was so awful that it was a better option.
