American Vintage II almost impossible to bend

Umm I definitely know how to set up a guitar. I’ve worked on guitars for 15 years doing setups/repair/ wiring and mild luthier work. I’ve been playing for 28 years and have owned probably over thirty guitars.

Anyone who has ever owned both a Gibson and a Fender will tell you that the Frets, scale length and bridge make Gibsons more malleable for playing. Bending is easier, sliding is easier etc. etc.

By relativity, Fenders require more “work” to play than Gibsons primarily based off of the scale length alone.

I’m not saying you can’t have a phenomenal playing strat. Just saying on average, Fenders require more effort out of your fingers than a Gibson or even something like a wizard III Ibanez.
