I enjoy working out and have wanted to take growth supplements in the past, but she has told me that she would find that unattractive and has asked me not to do so, even though I like powerlifting and think i would look good if I were bigger than I currently am.

But hearing her tell me her opinion of it made me realize her opinion of me and my body is far more meaningful to me than my own opinion of my body.

I don’t see myself as a ruler or king, and again I don’t see it as my right to restrict her. So I am trying to accept this and move on. I’m just worried in the future if all we ever do in marriage is what we individually want to do, and not consider what the other wants.
