Animal rights activists hold die-in at busy Burlington intersection

Yes!! If you read the article, you’ll see that they only blocked the intersection for five minutes and police were there assuring the activists were safe along with the public.

If you were a few minutes late for work because of this, think about the tens of thousands of animals killed every single week at Fearmans Slaughterhouse. These animals were raised to be killed at only six months old! How would you feel if you were raised to be killed in a gas chamber?

Also, as you can see, the police were on scene and the organizers had made sure they could safely participate without putting others at risk. The time taken for this was only a fraction of the time a parade or event which needs a closed road takes and other emergency services were of course notified and in communication if the road had needed to be opened.

I hope you can all see that this isn’t as big a deal impacting your day as it is for the animals which the activists were there for.
