MAYOR just Put Out a STATE of EMERGENCY for Burlington

Based on your other comments, let me guess:

You don't own a business. You don't own property and have never been in a position where you rent\lease property or objects out (such as vehicles\tools\etc). Lastly, you don't invest in anything at all.

Don't just reply back and say you do, just to try to pretend I'm not right. Think about it - how did I guess all that? It's simple... you have never been in a position where any of that matters to you... which is why you're ready to just throw it away just to see if that will help the bigger problem.

No one is arguing that shutting down places will help... but you can't suspend rent, bill payments, or anything for EVERYBODY.... it just doesn't work like that. I know how much you and a lot of people would enjoy having no bills or rent or responsibilities what so ever, which is why people like Bernie Sanders gets votes... but that's not how we get to where we are... that's how we go backwards and not grow as a society.

Own up to your responsibilities. Yes, help would be good, but at what expense? You can't reset the entire economy just because you don't have anything invested in it.
