[Announcement] Challenger League Drops & Master League spots

You have teams in challenger that have a priority for 5v5houseparty

Our league operates as a separate entity than Houseparty so I don't see how this is relevant to any decision we make ever.

you move up teams based on their gauntlet ranking (which was weeks ago on older patches).

I asked you earlier this morning if you had a better idea. We are a community and take suggestions. The teams we moved up had the best rating and were overall the best teams during that time. Luckerdogs only dropping games to Blue Milk Freeze, which is in our top 5 for Challenger League and then FF a game in Master League. Super Nova Leo lost only to Mentality Gaming and then to Absolute Zero when they had to pull in a sub squad and lose bans. I don't think you can argue any other team deserves it over these guys. Your team is 3-0 because you have 2 forfeit wins and then you beat Reign of Evil, the 24th ranked team who hasn't won a game all season. You could say Couch Commandos but they got beat by Super Nova Leo. This leaves teams from Team A who are all ranked 16-20 who have no clear leader in the group.

I just think everything should be reset and figure something out.

Resetting the league entirely takes a lot of work and ruins the experience for a lot of players. Previous leagues I have worked on ended up dying because we didn't keep the show on the road and hype died. Also if we reset I almost guarantee you we would get the relatively the same results. No point in re-doing everything we've done so far and throwing it to the wayside just because a couple people think the way things conducted are unfair.

Get some prizes or incentive. Actually stream games like you promised.

I don't really think you understand just how much effort we put into this league. As a college student and a person who works part time I have thrown so much time into this. When I get on league I can't even play a game because I have 10 people messaging me about things. We also don't have a lot of people with the flexibility and ability to stream and let me ensure you we've done a lot of work going out to reach for casters and streamers. We've invested a lot of time into updated every spreadsheet on time for people, we've put time into updated stats and power rankings, we've put time into scheduling for every possible team and try to resolve any issue as fast as we possibly can and as fair as we can.

This league is falling apart and I feel like the admins don't do much to fix it and put to much on the captains to figure things out.

This is also incorrect. We give people a ton of options so we can be flexible and make it much easier for people to play in. Captains can contact us at any time for questions, as many have. And contrary to what you think, Group A and Group C have had little to no problems in the Master league, and our Challenger League teams have worked with us and reached out to actually help in case we needed it. You're telling me it's a shitshow while we do everything we can to fix whatever tiny problem any team has, while contributing nothing but negative comments and negative criticism and it really offends me. We have many people that appreciate what we do and work with us throughout the way and offer to help whenever we run into a problem.

We have 2 admins, with about 28 or so teams. Say each team has 2 problems each week that is 56 things we have to deal with along with the other things we have promised. 56 things divided per 5 (days) is around 11 things per day. When I only have about 5 hours to actually do anything that is 2 problems an hour. Realistically we have much more things to deal with too, and its all time consuming. There are times when I've had to drop what I'm doing just to come in and cast games, me, a person with little casting experience.

And no one is forcing you to stick around. Many teams have left due to other commitments because they have lives and are human. The way I see it is if you don't like how something is going you can A) Try your best to help out and offer positive feedback or B) decide it's not worth the time.
