Any Experience With Malpractice?

If your gyn isn't willing to talk to you, maybe you could ask /askdoctors? Death from undetected preeclampsia is very rare and the least you deserve are detailled answers . I don't have any experience with preeclampsia and don't have a medical background but have lost a child to medical error (wrote about it months ago under a different account). However, the situation was quite different.

There was never any denial from anyone at any point . We settled out of court very quickly and are currently waiting for the criminal trial. Not a single thing that I've read about medical error (systematic cover-ups, refusal to apologize/shit happens bla bla swiss cheese problem blah, soulless insurance companies/hospital administration, money-hungry lawyers etc) became reality. Admittedly, the mistake was obvious, even to someone with no medical knowledge. Excluding the accused who ,understandably, exercises her right to silence, every single person involved was open, kind and decent (before and after the involvement of lawyers&police). I do believe them that such a thing never happened before and that they were devastated.
