What has/have people been doing to help with their depressions after a loss of child/pregnancy?

Would taking a class of some sort help? It’s structured and requires focus, which is a nice distraction. With covid it might not be the best time but colleges usually offer interesting classes. You could even audit it, which is cheaper and you don’t have to worry about grades.

I went back to university, which helped me immensely because it gave me a goal that’s big and it’s going to give me something back in return. Without having a goal and something big to work towards I would likely be in a pretty rough place. Admittedly I still do have bad moments but school reduced them greatly. Thinking about my French classes is a lot nicer than thinking about the horror I went through with my depressing pregnancy. It was such a change of pace too, which I really needed.

Everyone is different though.. being in classes could be a nightmare for some people.
